Privacy Policy

The short version: I collect what you send me through the contact form, I use it to reply to you, and I don't sell it to anyone.

Who I am

This site, raymiskiewicz.com, is the personal website of Ray Miskiewicz. If you have any question about this policy or about your information, send it through the contact form and it reaches me directly.

What I collect

  • Contact form submissions. When you submit the contact form, the details you enter (such as your name, email address, company, phone number, and message) are collected and stored by HubSpot, the service that powers the form, so I can read and reply to your message.
  • Basic usage data. This site uses (or may add) analytics tools such as Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager to understand how the site is used — pages visited, approximate location, device type, and how you found the site. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally to me.

Cookies

Third-party services used by this site may set cookies in your browser: HubSpot (to make the contact form work and prevent spam) and, if enabled, Google Analytics (to measure site usage). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site's content works fine without them.

Videos are the exception worth spelling out. Every video on this site shows a still image that is served from this domain, and nothing is requested from YouTube until you press play. Press play and the player loads from youtube-nocookie.com, at which point YouTube can set its own cookies and see that you watched. If you never press play, YouTube is never contacted.

How your information is used

  • To respond to your inquiry — that's the main one.
  • To understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site so I can improve it.

I do not sell your information. I do not send marketing email to addresses submitted through the contact form without your consent.

Third-party services

This site is hosted on Netlify, uses HubSpot for the contact form, embeds video from YouTube once you press play, and may use Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics. Fonts are served from this domain rather than from Google Fonts, so no font request identifies you to a third party. Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing the data it processes.

Your choices

If you'd like the information you submitted deleted, or want a copy of it, ask through the contact form and I'll take care of it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
